Soili Syrjänen has been appointed as the new CEO of Fenno Optical Oy, effective May 1, 2026.
Soili has extensive and diverse experience in the optical industry, having worked for both the Tähti Optikko and Fenno Optiikka chains. She has served as Lens Product Manager at Fenno Optical Oy since its inception and has been responsible for developing the lens business and lens training. Under his leadership, lens expertise has reached a high level at Fenno Optiikka. The development of the lens business will continue to be a central part of Fenno Optiikka’s chain concept.
Sirkka Lind has been appointed Development Director of Fenno Optical Oy, effective May 1, 2026. Sirkka also has extensive and wide-ranging experience in the optical industry. She has held various positions within the Tähti Optikko chain and was involved in founding the Fenno Optiikka chain. Sirkka has a strong background in developing retail IT systems for opticians and ophthalmologists. In her role as Development Director, Sirkka will support Soili in her work to develop Fenno Optical.
Soili and Sirkka know the entrepreneurs at Fenno Optical and their staff very well and have great respect for the work they do. They view Fenno Optical’s dedicated staff and the chain’s strong team spirit as its key assets.
